Originally built in 1988, the Owners of this 6500 square foot home wanted to take advantage of the sweeping views of the Atlantic while maintaining as much of the existing structure as possible. The result is a home with several perimeter additions to compliment the existing massing. These additions include a guest wing and great room with three car garage below, a screen porch and exterior deck system allowing direct access to the backyard, a piano room and master study tower offering sunset views to the marsh, and a new formal entrance into the home. A new window and door design was incorporated throughout the structure, taking advantage of the newly reworked formal dining room, living room, and kitchen.
Complete with new Cedar siding, trim work, and natural stone base the Owners now have the shingle style home they were trying to achieve with the original design.
